I have had the pleasure of photographing Danny & Stephanie several times over the years. They are a fun couple and he has been one of my brother's best friends for many years.
When she called me for this session, she told me, "Aside from your brother, your the only non-family member who knows this - I'm pregnant and we want you to take our photos to announce it!" I was so excited! So we came up with a plan and took the photos as soon as we possibly could. The morning of the shoot was miserable. It was like ninety degrees and raining. We decided we would go ahead anyway, and we just killed some time until the rain stopped. It was so hot, and so humid, but Danny & Stephanie were troopers, and we managed to get a few really adorable photos. Congrats again, guys! I can't wait to see you as parents! By the way, if you are looking for announcements or have an occasion like this that doesn't require a full shoot, I am now offering weekday mini sessions year-round! Check out the investments page for details!

This little cutie turned one, and mom wanted to take a couple photos of him as well as do a cake smash. So we headed over to a park, praying the rain would hold off. It did, and the pictures turned out adorably! Location: Matheson Hammock Park, Miami, FL
Type of Shoot: Children, Birthday Camera Used: Canon 7D Lens Used: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Isabella is the sweetest little girl. She and I were able to bond while mom went back home to retrieve some items. I had never been to the Hialeah Racetrack before, and I'm so glad they chose this location, as it was absolutely gorgeous! Without further ado here are Isabella's communion photos. Location: Hialeah Race Track, Hialeah, FL
Type of Shoot: Communion Camera Used: Canon 7D Lens Used: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 I've photographed this family several times already, including at this year's Christmas minis. This handsome guy turned 2, and mom wanted to capture some shots of him being, well, himself! So we went to a park and we were able to document him in his element. What a fun shoot this was! This was also my first shoot with my brand new lens, so I was very excited to try it out! Location: Miami Springs, FL
Type of Shoot: Children Camera Used: Canon 7D Lens Used: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 This adorable little girl has the MOST amazing personality of any toddler I have ever encountered. I was a little worried at first, because mom told me she sleeps until 1 in the afternoon! But no sooner had they arrived, and she was reaching her arms up for me to carry her. I was head over heels! She has the most expressive face, and she was dressed to the nines. I hope you all enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them! Location: Bayside & Bayfront Park, Miami, FL

Back in November, I had the incredible honor to attend Mentors in Miami, a photography workshop held every year by Unique Design Studios. This year's Mentors were Justin and Mary Marantz of Justin & Mary, who are some of my favorite wedding photographers ever. We spent the morning listening to them give us their two cents on a successful business as well as some technique. During the latter part of the day, there were three model couples and some tables setups at the gorgeous Curtiss Mansion in Miami Springs. I am by no means a wedding photographer, but this is just a glimpse of what I was able to capture on that day. :) Location: Curtiss Mansion, Miami Springs, FL

We took the photos at Matheson Hammock Park, and luckily for us, the weather couldn't have cooperated any better than it did! Enjoy these sneak peeks! I took the Diaz's photos 2 years ago for Christmas, and they have grown so much! I may just have to post some before and after pics of them! These kids are awesome, with the most amazing personalities. The Romeros... I took Leilani's head shots last summer for her modeling portfolio and mom contacted me about Christmas minis. They are expecting Baby #2, another little diva, and they are so excited! The Jorges Family... Lucas's sessions are now done, but mommy really wanted some Christmas pictures of them. Check out this little cutie pie and his beautiful mommy & daddy. :) And finally, Ali & her husband Tony. I took their family's photos last year, and her mom contacted me again for their family shoot. She ended up having a work conflict, so Ali & Tony got their photos done. We had quite a few laughs during this shoot! Thanks again to all the families who participated! Loved capturing your holiday memories! Location: Matheson Hammock Park, Coral Gables, FL
Type of Shoot: Christmas Minis Camera Used: Canon 7D Lens Used: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Remember this post? Well the little beauty from my first ever blog post is back and she's sooo much bigger than when you last saw her! Mom & Dad are expecting another little girl, but in lieu of traditional maternity pics, Mom decided she just wanted some family photos and some for Christmas. I can't believe how much Alana has grown since last year, and she one active little girl! I almost couldn't keep up with her! Without further ado, enjoy! Location: Wynwood, Miami, FL
Type of Shoot: Family Camera Used: Canon 7D Lens Used: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Kristen was my student in 8th grade. This year, she will be graduating from high school, which makes me feel old. She contacted me a couple of months ago wanting to do a fun, different senior session. She decided to do them at her high school, which I loved because it is also the high school from which I graduated! I was really happy with the results, and I think she was too. She is a sweet, beautiful young lady and that shines through in her photos. Without further ado, I leave you with Kristen's senior photos. Location: Miami, FL
Type of Shoot: Headshots Camera Used: Canon 7D Lens Used: Canon EF 85mm f/1.8, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 For all those of you who want a post about something other than Valentine's Day, I give you this. Little D is celebrating her birthday this coming weekend, and it's old-Hollywood themed. So of course, she dressed up as none other than Ms. Hepburn and channeled her inner Holly Golightly and we went to town. I'm in love with her little diva persona. But in real life, she's a smart, sweet, kind 5th grader. Oh, and a kick-butt dancer. Seriously, this girl is amazing. Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then - then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name! Location: Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, FL
