Ale is one of my closest friends. Last year, she was engaged to Dan, an amazing guy who loves her more than anything in the world. After some back and forth, they decided on a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic (a place I hold dear to my heart because it is where my husband is from).
The wedding took place on Saturday, but we arrived on Wednesday afternoon to spend some time with family and to settle in. On Thursday, I took some engagement photos of Dan & Ale (nicknamed Dale by many haha) and we spent most of the day walking around the beautiful, albeit hot, Zona Colonial (Old Town).
After a party bus outing, a beach day, and a delicious rehearsal dinner, came the wedding. Saturday was a day of preparations and jangling nerves. I am by no means a wedding photographer, but I couldn't help but take my camera to capture a few of the most special moments of the day. Of course, her official photographers were the amazing Justin & Mary, and they have the most gorgeous photos of Dan & Ale's wedding up on their blog. I have tons more photos but this is what I've had a chance to work on so far. :)
Congratulations Dan & Ale!
